SARASOTA - Fishing was slow, but perseverance paid off as the Feeding Frenzy earned points in its
first tournament of the season. On a day that started gusty and rough, the Frenzy stuck with it and brought a 19.58 lb.
fish to the scales.
The bite seemed to be off, but some teams found fish, including the Frenzy. This fish is not a record, but it starts the season.
There is not much time to rest as the Frenzy will be fishing next weekend also. |

TREASURE
ISLAND - Fishing all day paid off for the Frenzy. The team caught
all kinds of fish - Blackfin, AJ's, Barracuda, and 1 King, but the single Kingfish
sure counted. Fishing far out west, the Frenzy hauled in a 26.98 lb fish that
placed them 10th overall, and 3rd in the Ladies division.
The fishing was fast paced, but the Kings were few and far between for the entire
field. Not many fish were weighed, so the hard work paid off with a nice finish.
The Frenzy is now poised for a run a Nationals with one more nice fish in the October
tournament. |

SARASOTA
- The Feeding Frenzy Team enjoyed a
nice start to the season with a Top 15 placing in the 14th ANNUAL SARASOTA SERTOMA
KINGFISH TOURNAMENT. The day started quick. With 15 fish
caught overall, the crew stayed busy fighting fish and replenishing baits.
Early on the fish were small schoolies, but the persistence paid off, as the day
ended with 3 fish over 25 lbs. The Frenzy Crew raced to Sarasota and weighed
the first fish of the season at 26.75 lbs, for a 15th overall in the tournament.
What a great start to the season and a good effort all-around. Congrats to
the other boats that caught nice fish. See you at the next one. |
